Dr. Imran Haque is an internal medicine doctor who currently works at the Horizon Internal Medicine practice in Asheboro, North Carolina. Dr. Haque says that technology has made great improvements to the medical field. Record keeping is much easier now, as is ordering prescriptions, getting referrals and making follow ups. The time saved by doctors has greatly improved the quality and efficiency of medical care now. It has also made coordinating care with other medical professionals such as pharmacists, nurses, doctors and surgeons much easier and more effective.
