Greg Secker — Financial Mogul or Man on a Mission?

Greg Secker started his stellar career in finance by joining Thomas Cook Financial services. He was great at the firm and earned the reputation as one of their top employees. After this, he switched fields and went into foreign exchange. He figured, for his great clients, there was more money to be made. And he was right. He started running his own foreign exchange business called VTD (Virtual Trading Desk). It was and instant hit! He was the first trader to offer real-time online forex trading. Day traders and other investors loved the system. No longer would they have to wait and read the Wall Street Journal or call up their broker; now, they could do everything from the comfort of their home.

He quickly progressed in the ranks of finance. The corporate ladder was his second home. Greg Secker was elected Vice President of Mellon Financial Corporation – a high rated Fortune 500 investment bank. This was the big leagues. He was now working directly with some of the best traders in the world. Greg wasn’t shaken. He stuck to his plans and what made him a great trader. By continuing his investment strategy, he was able to grow his personal trading account to higher amounts than anyone else at Mellon Financial. He eventually decided to leave Mellon and start his own trading floor from his home – he was back online. From this move, his iconic company Learn to Trade was created. Within a short time of 13 years, he was able to secure offices in London, South Africa, Australia, and The Philippines. He has trained more than 200,000 people in the art of trading through his popular Learn to Trade seminars and workshops. In 2009, Knowledge to Action was given second place prize in the London Excellence Awards. He was ecstatic. They won forty-ninth place in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Awards. He was well on his way to becoming the fastest growing firm in the world.
