Jeb Bush Officially Joins The Race for President

According to Buzzfeed, Jeb Bush announced on Monday, June 15, 2015 that he will be joining the race to become the next American President. The former Florida governor announced his bid in Miami, as his mother and former first lady, Barbara Bush, looked on. The main focus of his campaign is specifically to increase the economy by at least 4% and create 19 million new jobs.
Bush made it a note to mention that the fact that his brother and father have been president does not mean that he gets a “free pass.” He insisted that his family name will not give him any boost in comparison to the other candidates. He stated that “Not a one of us deserves the job by right of resume, party, seniority, family, or family narrative.” Bush’s experience as a 2-time Governor of Florida as well as his campaign focus certainly makes him one of the top contenders for the Presidential role.
Bush gave his announcement in both English and Spanish, reminding us all that he has a tight knit community of Hispanics behind his campaign says Brian Torchin in an article on Angel.co. He has actually been unofficially campaigning for months now and his announcement to join the presidential race comes as a surprise to no one.
